The Vernon County Sheriff’s Department reported a two-vehicle accident in the town of Viroqua on Saturday, Dec. 23.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., a vehicle operated by Terry St. John, age 69, of Viroqua, was traveling east on Hwy. 56, when he attempted to turn left on Hwy. 82 and collided with a westbound vehicle operated by Alan White, age 67, of Viola. St John said he did not see the White vehicle. The vehicles collided head-on in the intersection.
White reported minor injuries at the crash but refused medical treatment. St. John and his passenger, Terri Cade, did not report any injuries. All parties were wearing seat belts.
Assisting at the scene was the Viroqua Fire Department.
The crash remains under investigation by the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office.
