Thank-you Einar Unseth for all your wonderful columns over the past year in the Westby Times. I am so grateful you contacted me after the loss of my dear friend Howard Sherpe. He, like yourself, are near and dear to my heart and have a wonderful talent for writing.
While speaking with Einar on the phone recently he said he realizes his time on earth is short, but his journey has been a blessed path. I am tearing up as I write this so it is hard to see the keys. I just want to thank Einar and is family for assisting him with his wish to put his memories of 'days gone' by in print and I am grateful that I could provide the format to accomplish this wonderful man's wish.
They say when one door closes another door opens, so I hope whatever door opens next for Einar is as rewarding as it has been for me to have the privilege to work with him and his wonderful family.
God Bless all of you and it is with great regret that I am running his final Prairie Pondering's column in this week's edition of the Westby Times.
