Mortgage Operations Opportunities! Merchants Bank has the following opportunities for experienced mortgage professionals. These positions can work remotely within a commutable distance to Winona, MN. Senior Business Systems Analyst: This position will contribute to the future vision and ongoing technical strategy, with a concentration in the mortgage department. Duties include research, development of new or enhanced products, and recommendations for use and implementation. Must have the ability to collaborate with end users to provide input and implement new processes/products/applications. Oversee all aspects of the mortgage systems and software to include setup, maintenance, testing and implementation of system updates, creating reports, training, and troubleshooting. 2+ years of mortgage banking experience and Encompass Administrator Certification preferred. 2+ years of technical software support or project management experience preferred. Underwriter: 1-2 years experience underwriting conventional loan products is required. Duties include approving loans and handling other credit related items. Will have extensive contact with all mortgage lenders, mortgage operations staff and correspondent banks. Must know Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac underwriting guidelines, Rural Development, and mortgage insurance guidelines. Mortgage Loan Processor: 2 years of mortgage processing experienced required and secondary market processing experience preferred. Duties involve working with our Mortgage Lenders and Underwriters, obtaining information and preparing loan files, processing verifications, and other loan support tasks.
