Trempealeau Valley Cooperative 2.0 Director of Operations Job Posting Job Description The Trempealeau Valley Cooperative 2.0 is accepting applications for a Director of Operations for this unique four school district cooperative. This position will include numerous responsibilities including, but not limited to those listed. The Trempealeau Valley Cooperative 2.0 is a collaborative partnership between the school districts of Arcadia, Blair-Taylor, Independence, and Whitehall. The foundational basis for this cooperative is to develop a world-class collaborative educational system in a rural setting that offers high caliber learning experiences to ensure students are future-ready. The development of career pathways and partnerships with the greater communities of the four school districts will lead to regional stability and a greater quality of life for the citizens of West-Central Wisconsin. Responsibilities • Work with Superintendents to guide the work of the TVC 2.0 as directed by the Governing Board • Examine opportunities for increased efficiency in roles and responsibilities across the districts • Facilitate the development of courses and curriculum to meet the mission and vision of the TVC 2.0 • Develop and grow strong partnerships with the business community throughout the four school districts • Build partnerships with post-secondary institutions to increase dual-credit options for students that lead to industry certificates and potential post-secondary school enrollment in future driven careers • Develop career pathways and educational academies based on job market analysis and employment needs • Work with Youth Apprenticeship Coordinators to grow opportunities for students to learn about and experience jobs and career options in employment settings • Develop and deliver presentations to students and parents regarding TVC 2.0 specifically to promote dual credit courses, youth apprenticeships, job shadows, industry certificates, and college coursework. • Develop and deliver presentations to business leaders, post-secondary schools, and the general public regarding TVC 2.0 to be used to promote our mission and vision • Work with the Governing Board and the Co-Chairs to set up meetings and develop agendas • Periodically attend the school board meetings of the partner schools to present updates regarding the TVC 2.0 • Perform other duties as assigned by the Governing Board and/or the TVC 2.0 Superintendents to promote and continue to build a world-class, regional collaborative educational system • Develop and maintain a TVC 2.0 website • Develop and maintain a TVC 2.0 social media presence • Participate in a quarterly review of progress with the District Superintendents Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in education or a business-related field that supports the vision of our coop • Demonstrated success in developing, leading and guiding teams • Demonstrated success in building relationships with businesses and community stakeholders • Demonstrated success in project management • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Salary & Benefits • Salary and benefits will be set based on the qualifications and final contract hours and days.
