Voting is a sacred right. For nearly 100 years, the League of Women Voters have fought to protect the rights of eligible voters and expand access for those who’ve been left out of our democratic process. The La Crosse League of Women Voters is dedicated to insuring that all eligible voters have the right to vote and that each vote counts.

In January 2017, the Wisconsin Election Commission launched an online voter registration system.  In 2018, the LWV will continue to assist citizens in registering to vote through the State's "My Vote" online system or through paper registration forms delivered to municipal clerks along with proof of residence. Peter Nelson, LWV La Crosse Director, Voter Services Committee, will provide an overview of changes in the Wisconsin voter registration process through the online voter registration system. Discover the roadblocks and challenges facing eligible citizens in registering to vote and understanding the photo ID requirements to vote in Wisconsin. Learn how you can join the League of Women Voters in continued voter education, outreach, and assistance to "Empower Voters and Defend Democracy".
