WEST SALEM — Stella Irene (Iverson) Wee passed away peacefully Thursday, April 26, 2018, at the young age of 88.

She was born March 27, 1930, to Martin and Elsie (Helgeson) Iverson in rural Mount Sterling. Stella graduated from Gays Mills High School.

On Oct. 2, 1948, she married the love of her life, Gorman Wee. They lived in Mt. Sterling and then Westby, until moving to West Salem in 1967. Stella loved to play cards with her numerous card clubs and her sisters until all hours of the night. She will be dearly missed by her “Sunday Card Partner,” Lettie Morgan. Stella was so proud of her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She loved everything about life. Stella looked forward to making her Norwegian meatballs and Krumkake every year for Christmas.
