WEST SALEM — Verlyn “Lynn” A. Lieder, 95, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018, at Gundersen Health System.

She was born to Mattie (Phillips) and Walter Connell Sept. 28, 1922. She married William “Bill” Lieder, Jan. 12, 1945, at the Caledonia Street Methodist Church in La Crosse. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of West Salem and PEO Chapter DC.

Lynn is survived by two sons, Gary (Roberta) Lieder of McHenry, Ill., and Kevin (Carolyn) Lieder of Sparta. She is further survived by four grandchildren, Rebecca Lieder of McHenry, Aaron, Sterling and Krystal Lieder, all of Sparta; one great-granddaughter, Lilly, of McHenry; and sister, Jean (Henry) Henricks of Kaukauna, Wis.; as well many nieces and nephews.

Lynn was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, in 2000; her parents; daughter, Sandra Rae Lieder; five brothers, Myron, Rolland, Spencer, Clayton and Walter.

Family and friends may visit from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 7, at the Presbyterian Church, 625 W. Franklin St., West Salem, followed by a memorial service and luncheon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Presbyterian Church of West Salem.
