Juvenile arrested regarding a probation violation warrant, 1200 block of Spruce Dr.

Citation Issued to Canadian Pacific Railroad for blocking public crossing in violation of Minnesota State Law, Main and Sycamore streets.

April 4

Manhole cover had broken. City Maintenance contacted to fix issue, S. First and S. Walnut Streets.

Canadian Pacific Railroad train blocking public crossing for over 10 minutes. Train was moved a short time later, Main and Sycamore streets.

Trouble with party complaint, 300 block of Main St.

Unoccupied parked motor vehicle was struck sometime during the night. Striking vehicle was located nearby and driver had been unaware of the contact. Incident was resolved between subjects involved, 600 block of Welshire Dr.

April 3

Assisted the La Crescent Fire Department with reported residential furnace malfunction, 600 block of S. First St.

Officer presence requested at public meeting, 300 block of S. First St.

An abandoned bicycle was turned into the police department, Kistler Dr.

April 2

Report of a wrong way driver on I-90 approaching La Crescent. Officer was unable to locate vehicle.

Written Correspondence received by the Police Department. Information documented, 300 block of Main St.

Report of an injured mallard duck received, 400 block of Main St.

Suspicious activity reported, Burns Valley Rd.

Burglary alarm. Determined to have been false, 200 block of S. Walnut St.

April 1

Complaint of Canadian Pacific Railroad train blocking private crossing for an extended period of time. Railroad was contacted.

Complaint of harassing communications received. Telephone trace conducted, 300 block of Main St.

Open door. Building was secured and owner advised, 600 block of Kistler Dr.

March 31

La Crescent man arrested for domestic assault, 100 block of N. Third St.

Open door. Building was secured and owner advised, 20 block of N. Hill St.

Damage to property reported, 400 N. Third St.

March 30

Complaint of injured wild rabbit. Rabbit had left area prior to officer’s arrival, 70 block of Skunk Hollow Rd.

La Crosse, Wis., woman arrested regarding an active Fillmore County arrest warrant, 300 block of S. Marshall St.

Parking over time limit/abandoned. Vehicle owner was cited and vehicle was towed, Strupp Ave. and U.S. 14/61 E.

Gas drive off reported. Owner of vehicle later returned and paid for purchase. Accidental, 300 block of S. Third St.

Grandparent Scam reported, 300 block of Main St.
