BLACK RIVER FALLS — Timothy “Spud” John Messelt, 27, of Black River Falls passed away Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, at home.
He was born Nov. 22, 1989, son of Randy Messelt and Susan Bullen in Black River Falls.
Tim graduated from Black River High School and earned his associate’s degree in welding at Lake Shore Technical College in Cleveland, Wis. He worked for Sam McNulty farms as well as the Anderson farm. He also lent a hand at his dad’s farm. He was a very hard worker and could fix any tractor or machine.
Tim was a loving, generous, compassionate, and affectionate man. He was a gentleman at heart, hardworking, and a caring son, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend. As much as he loved to work hard in the barn, shop, and tractor, he also loved to have a great time and party with his close friends and family. He loved to wrestle with his nephews and make his nieces laugh. He always found time to hunt and fish. He was especially known for his pearly white smile and his smile offered anyone a good time. He was dedicated to those around him and loved animals. He was strong and never let the bad overcome the greatness. He was a positive and enlightening companion. He is irreplaceable.
Tim is survived by his parents, Susan Bullen (Steve Mathews) and Randy (Teri) Messelt; brother, Christopher Messelt (Amber Worman); sisters, Jennifer Messelt and Bethany Messelt (David Sartor); nephews, Markum Sartor and Rowan Sartor; nieces, Jazmine Hacker and Jaden Hacker; numerous cousins, uncles, aunts, and many friends.
