Donna M. Kreger, 88, of Tomah passed away Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at the University of Wisconsin Hospital-Madison.
She was born Aug. 8, 1929, to Arthur and Lucele (Stoiber) Quist in the town of Clifton, on the family farm. Donna was a member of the Tomah High School graduating class of 1947. She was united in marriage to William C. Kreger, he preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Karen (Michael Simek) Kreger of Arlington, Wis., and Rebecca Kreger of La Crosse; her grandchildren, Tristan, Trevor, Sierra, Zachary, and Wendy; two sisters, Maxine Franz and Audrey Abbs; and a brother, Norel (Marlene) Quist all of Tomah; and a sister-in-law, Margie Quist; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She now is reunited with her husband, William; a infant son, David; daughter, Karla Kreger; brothers, Franklin, Korwin and Sheldon; a sister-in-law, Darlene Quist; brothers-in-law, Richard “Dick” Abbs and Howard Franz.
A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 9, at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, 525 Superior Ave., Tomah. Pastor William King will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Relative and friends are invited for a time of visitation from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E.
