Georgia A. Stewart, 64, of Tomah passed away Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.

She was born July 10, 1953, to Milford and Lula (Russell) Green.

Georgia was a kind hearted person who was always willing to help, even strangers. She was a loving mom and a wholesome companion. She was an extremely hard worker who was always up for a fun time. She valued the Ho Chunk way of life. Georgia will be missed by all who knew her and her memory will live on.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Lawrence Stewart; nine children, Mike (Melissa) Stewart, Rhoda Stewart, Arnold Stewart, Toni (Noah) Stewart-Decorah, Lawrence (Tanya Finch) Stewart Jr., Cora Stewart, William (Jade Thomas) Stewart, Lucas Stewart and Travis Stewart; 13 grandchildren; five siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant grandson, Gage Stewart; and seven siblings.

Funeral services were held at noon Saturday, Dec. 30, at the Blue Wing Community Center. Burial followed in Blue Wing Cemetery, Tomah.
