Area Community Theatre director Steve Jones has scheduled Monday, June 18, Tuesday, June 19 and Thursday, June 21 from 6:30-8 p.m. as audition dates for ACT’s fall comedy production Here Come the Brides by William D. Fisher.

The ACT production will run Oct. 4-7 and Oct. 11-14.

Here Come the Brides tells the story of how Jimmy, who needs to borrow money after he learns that his rich Uncle Dan, who assumes Jimmy is married, is coming to meet the bride. Worried that Uncle Dan will think Jimmy deliberately lied to him, Jimmy frantically tries to find someone (anyone) to be his wife before Uncle Dan arrives.

Parts are available for seven women and four men. People wishing to audition should come to the theater at 907 Kilbourn Ave. in Tomah and follow the posted signs to the audition area. Auditioners should be prepared to read from a script.
