The Tomah School Board will hold a special meeting Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 5 p.m. at Robert Kupper Learning Center to wrap up a trio of budget items.

The board will:

  • Set a tax levy for the 2017-18 school year. During the Oct. 16 board meeting, school district business manager Greg Gaarder said he anticipates a drop in the mill rate. School districts must set their levies by Nov. 1.
  • Authorize final budget adjustments for the 2017-18 school year.
  • Vote on compensation packages for teachers, administrators and support staff. Board members got their first look at the proposals during the Oct. 16 meeting.
