Plenty of political TV ads to wade through these days. No wonder. We need a new Attorney General.

As a former Assistant Attorney General myself, I know what a strong Attorney General should do.

The current AG has been really soft on polluters and drug companies, lax in responding to the opioid crisis, slow to start working on the backlog of thousands of untested rape kits and misguided in his solution that school teachers should be armed in order to stop school shootings.

In total contrast, Josh believes more mental health resources are needed in our schools and in universal background checks on gun purchases.

And as a former federal prosecutor where he prosecuted murderers and drug traffickers, Josh knows what improves public safety and how to curb the opioid crisis.

Josh has committed to seriously and even-handedly enforcing our environmental and consumer laws.

He is the son of our former AG, Peg Lautenschlager, and grew up in Oshkosh and Fond du Lac and is married with two young children. He has the support of Governor Doyle -- our former AG -- and I hope Josh can earn your support, too.

Kathleen Falk,
