Wisconsin has so many beautiful places to drive that it is beyond description in the fall, but it's really worth visiting any time of year. You never know what wildlife you might find, from deer and elk to wild turkeys and more birds than you can even count. From the boundary waters to Lake Michigan, the water, trees, animals and birds are being endangered, and if we don’t protect the environment it will be gone.
Foxconn is being given $4.5 billion in taxpayer dollars and free reign to break any of our conservation rules. This is a big deal − remember we all need clean water to survive. Trees, flora, humans, animals need fresh clean water and clean air. This is the WISCONSIN we love. I think our representatives who voted for the deal should be held accountable for their vote.
Cari Fay, who is running for the 70th Assembly District and is Native American, has been raised to take care of our environment. She has strengthened her listening skills, communicating effectively to bring positive and effective change. Her tenure on the Milwaukee police force has given her a really hard look at all the opioid abuse, knowing jail isn’t the answer to solve the problem as we need more mental health services.
We need affordable healthcare for all, tax breaks to the middle class, not the top one percent. We believe everyone should pay their fair share. We need local government control, broadband, fully fund education and more dollars to fix our roads and bridges.
Wisconsin with Cari will continue working on these concerns like she has always done. I know she will work hard to advocate for the 70th Assembly District.
