Thank you to Meghan Flynn for the informative article regarding high school seniors registering to vote in November’s elections. One correction: Credit belongs to Indivisible WI-03 member Rose Berry for doing the legwork of setting up the event on the 15th on the Indivisible group’s part.

Being at the school that day to witness the energy of the government studies students was an enlightening experience for me and gives me hope for the part our younger generation will play in ensuring that democracy prevails in the United States.

Clerk Joann Cram told me that some young people have come to her offices with their parents to register. That’s good news! And she stressed that voters can register on Nov. 6 at the polls. So I would encourage everyone, young and old: If you are not registered, come to the polls on election day and make your voices be heard.
