The Tomah High School girls tennis team had its 2018 season come to end at the La Crosse Central Sectional Subsectional Monday held at Central and La Crosse Logan high schools.

The Timberwolves scored six points in the subsectional but failed to advance anyone to Thursday’s Madison Memorial Sectional.

Team scores for the combined subsectional/sectional: Madison Memorial 45, Middleton 34, Madison West 30, La Crosse Central 24, Onalaska 20, La Crosse Logan 19, Verona 13, Sauk Prairie 12, Tomah 6, Holmen 6, Reedsburg 2, Portage 2, Sparta 2, Madison East 2, Baraboo 0, Oregon 0, Waunakee 0.

Madison Memorial advanced its entire team to the state team tournament.

Tomah ended the season with an 8-7 dual record and sixth-place finish in the Mississippi Valley Conference under first-year coach Ben Bannan.
