TIGERTON, Wis. — Jeneane F. Phalin, 70, of Tigerton passed away surrounded by family Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, at ThedaCare in Appleton, Wis. She was born Jan. 4, 1947, to John and Florimel (Schenck) Hoff. She attended and graduated from Janesville High School in 1965. She then attended Blackhawk Technical College. On Oct. 5, 1968, she married Darell Phalin in Afton, Wis. She worked for Legal Action in Beloit, Wis., for many years before working for the State of Wisconsin Probation and Parole. Jeneane and her husband owned and operated a restaurant in Eagle River for many years. Jeneane loved to cook and bake, she was also an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers. She also very much loved spending time with her many grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Darell of Tigerton; sons, Damon (Teri) Phalin of Tomahawk, Dustin Phalin of Appleton, and Danyon Phalin of Appleton. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Austin, Gavin, Easton, Mason, Kegan, Keylee, Evan, and Quinton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Florimel Hoff; brother, John Hoff; and a sister, Mary Eichman.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Thorson Funeral Home in Viroqua. Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
