A Kendall man was taken to a Hillsboro hospital following a single-vehicle accident at about 10 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 3, on Hwy. 82 east of Hillsboro.

Nicholas C. Jadoul, 23, was traveling east on Hwy. 82 when he began to hydroplane, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. The vehicle went off the road and rolled several times, coming to rest on the roof. Jadoul was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital by Hillsboro Ambulance, where he refused medical treatment, according to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Department.

Jadoul was not wearing a seat belt, and airbags did not deploy.

The Hillsboro Police Department, Hillsboro Fire Department and Hillsboro Ambulance assisted at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
