The William Schoville Post 220 American Legion and Auxiliary in Soldiers Grove are hosting “Soldiers Grove People Helping People Fundraiser” to help those devastated by the recent floods in Readstown, Soldiers Grove and Gays Mills.

The date of the event has been set for Saturday, Sept. 22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A chicken dinner with augratin potatoes, baked beans, salads, dessert, roll, butter and beverages will be provided with a suggested selling price of $10 or more if you so wish. Each person eating will receive a ticket with a chance to win door prizes every 30 minutes of the fundraiser.

Donated items will be raffled off or be part of a silent auction which include items donated by the Green Bay Packers, Organic Valley and Wisconsin Badgers. To become a sponsor for this event will be a $100 donation.
