Vernon Women's Alliance (VWA) and WVRQ-GreatRiversNews are teaming up to hold a candidate forum for the 96th Assembly race. The forum will be held in the Viroqua High School cafeteria, Tuesday, Oct. 16. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., questions begin promptly at 6 p.m.

"Our goal is to educate voters with the best information possible to help them make decisions when heading to the voting booth," said Susan Weber, a member of VWA. "This forum will be a chance to capitalize on VWA's knowledge and tradition of running forums with WVRQ's ability to carry that information to a wider audience. We look forward to the chance to ask the candidates questions on key issues of interest to voters in the 96th."

Loren Oldenburg and Paul Buhr have both been invited to respond to questions from their constituents.

Contact Weber at sweber@citizensfirstbank.net with any questions.
