As of 3 p.m. Friday, July 31, there have been 4,803 total tests, 4,718 negative results, and 56 positive COVID-19 results in the county, according to the Vernon County Office of Emergency Management.
The newest positive cases include a female between the ages of 0-9 who is recovering at home and a male in his 60 who is recovering at home.
Of the 56 cases, 49 are recovered, zero are hospitalized, and seven are isolating at home.
To best protect yourself and others stay home if you are sick, wear a fabric face covering when in public, practice social distancing by keeping at least 6 feet between yourself and others, and practice good hygiene.
