Jay Isaac Wolman, 36, Coon Valley, was referred to the district attorney in Monroe County for multiple charges after a Nov. 15 incident in the town of Portland.

Police were called to a Hwy. X residence, where a woman said Wolman had attempted to run her over before fleeing the scene. She led police to her vehicle, where several lug nuts were removed from two of the tires. She told police she believed Wolman removed them in an attempt to make her car crash.

Police caught up with Wolman later in the day and recovered the lug nuts, according the report. He was referred for theft, endangering safety and disorderly conduct.
