As a fundraiser for the upcoming Lutheran Youth Gathering in Houston, Texas, printer, baker and Pastor Donald Fox is having a sale of home-made cinnamon raisin bread and postcards fit for the pages of Reminisce magazine at Pearl Street Books, 323 Pearl St., Crosse on Sat. June 16 from 1-3 p.m.

Pastor Fox started his church baking career in La Crosse twenty-eight years ago for the Oct. 1989 Sauerkraut Supper at St. John’s UCC. He has been baking for yearly church suppers and monthly communions ever since. Pastor Fox studied graphic arts at the Mercer County (NJ) Vocational Technical School. He has self-published a dozen books and countless note cards. He has only recently ventured into the field of postcards.
