Westby Area High School Head Boys Basketball Coach Bob Constalie, of Westby, will be inducted into the WisBCA Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association 2017 Hall of Fame at the end of the month. Inductees will be honored at the annual Coaches Hall of Fame banquet on Saturday, Sept. 30, at the Wilderness Lodge in Wisconsin Dells.

Constalie has been head basketball coach in Westby since 1990. In his 27 years of coaching, Constalie has recorded 441 wins and 256 losses. He is listed 38th in the Wisconsin coaches all-time win rankings. A story honoring Constalie will be included in an upcoming issue of the Westby Times.

Dave Boland of Seneca will also be entered into the WisBCA Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association 2017 Hall of Fame. He is ranked 35th in the state, has been coaching for 29 years, has recorded 455 wins and 212 losses.

Both Constalie and Boland are still actively coaching today.

Tickets for the banquet are $40 for adults and $13 for children under 12. If you plan to attend please include Coach Constalie or Coach Boland’s name with your ticket purchase so that you can be seated near their table. Social hour begins at 4:30 p.m., with dinner at 5:30 p.m. Everyone attending will need a ticket.
