...FLASH FLOODING POSSIBLE INTO THURSDAY MORNING...

.ANOTHER ROUND OF HEAVY RAIN WILL OCCUR TONIGHT INTO THURSDAY MORNING. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES ARE EXPECTED WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. THE BULK OF THE RAIN WILL OCCUR TONIGHT.

HIGH RAINFALL RATES ARE EXPECTED, WHICH COULD QUICKLY LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING. MUD AND ROCK SLIDES IN THE STEEPER TERRAIN AREAS WILL BE POSSIBLE. WATER LEVELS ON AREA RIVERS WILL BE IN THE RISE AND URBAN FLOODING WILL ALSO BE A CONCERN.

THE TIME TO PREPARE IS NOW. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL HEAVY RAIN OR FLOODING IS OCCURRING. REMEMBER, NEVER DRIVE OR WALK INTO FLOOD WATERS OR DRIVE AROUND BARRICADES SET UP BY LOCAL OFFICIALS.

* PORTIONS OF IOWA, SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA, AND WISCONSIN, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS, IN IOWA, ALLAMAKEE, CHICKASAW, CLAYTON, FAYETTE, FLOYD, HOWARD, MITCHELL, AND WINNESHIEK. IN SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA, DODGE, FILLMORE, HOUSTON, MOWER, OLMSTED, WABASHA, AND WINONA. IN WISCONSIN, ADAMS, BUFFALO, CRAWFORD, GRANT, JACKSON, JUNEAU, LA CROSSE, MONROE, RICHLAND, TREMPEALEAU, AND VERNON.

* THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON

* HEAVY RAINFALL OF 2 TO 4 INCHES, LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. WIDESPREAD FLOODING IS POSSIBLE. THE BULK OF THE RAIN WILL FALL TONIGHT.
