BLACK RIVER FALLS — Legendary country band Shenandoah, led by original lead singer Marty Raybon, will headline a concert with Maiden Dixie starting at 7 p.m. Friday, April 20, at the Ho Chunk Casino, W9010 Hwy. 54 in Black River Falls.

The band, formed in Alabama in 1987, took home Grammy and Academy of Country Music awards during its decade as a force in country music, notching No. 1 hits with “The Church on Cumberland Road,” “Sunday in the South,” “Two Dozen Roses,” “Next to You, Next to Me,” and “If Bubba Can Dance (I Can Too).”

After going 20 years without releasing new music, the band recently came out with “Reloaded” and has been criss-crossing the country on a 30th anniversary tour. The band will be back in the area May 19, sharing the bill with Joe Nichols on a show in Camp Douglas.
