Vehicle was left blocking the roadway. Vehicle moved upon request, N. Oak and S. Oak streets.

Canadian Pacific train reported to be blocking the private crossings for an extended period of time. Contact made with CP Rail regarding complaint, Main and Sycamore streets.

Ordinance violation reported of an apartment tenant using a charcoal grill on an upper deck of residence, 900 block of Redwood St. E.

Lost jewelry box with rings reported. Unknown where item was specifically lost, 300 block of Main St.

Burning complaint. Construction company was illegally burning wooden construction scraps. Fire extinguished, 400 block of Shore Acres Rd.

Waukon, Iowa, woman issued citation for speeding.

Minor two vehicle property damage crash, Redwood Dr. E. and S. 11th St. ,

Feb. 13

Assisted the Houston County Sheriff’s Office on a traffic stop where multiple occupants were arrested, S. 14th St. and State 16.

Information received regarding person of interest, 300 block of Main St.

Arrested La Crescent man regarding active Houston County arrest warrants, 100 block of Janell Ave.

Feb. 12

Report of two missing juveniles. Situation was found to have been a result of miscommunication between parent and children, 600 block of S. Third St.

Suspicious activity report, 400 block of N. First St.

Canadian Pacific train reported to be blocking public crossing in excess of Minnesota State Law. Citation issued to railroad company for violation, Main and Sycamore streets.

Report of a juvenile smoking tobacco. Subject was found to have recently turned 18-years-old, 700 block of S. 11th St.

Feb. 11

Removed debris dropped in traffic lane, US 14/61 E & US 14/61 N.

Live Trap loaned out for unwanted animal living on property, 400 block of Park St.

La Crescent woman cited for driving after a suspension and no vehicle insurance, S. 11th and .S Oak streets.

Feb. 10

Elderly lost and confused Woodbury, Minn., man was found at local business with his vehicle almost empty of gas and no money. Contact made with law enforcement from his place of residency and arrangements made to get him home and into the care of a relative, 300 block of S. Third St.

Responded to concern the residential house fire from the previous evening was smoldering. Fire Department contacted, 1200 block of County Rd. 25.

Feb. 9

Attempt to arrest subject with active arrest warrant, 100 block of Janell Ave.

Residential structure fire, 1200 block of County Rd. 25.

Attempt to serve active arrest warrant, 100 block of Janell Ave.

Scam attempt. Telephone call received reporting to be the IRS, 500 block of N. First St.

Non-sufficient fund checks were turned over to the police department for prosecution, 300 block of Kistler Dr.

Crime stoppers tip from La Crosse PD, 200 block of S. Elm St.
