The Black River Falls Public Library, in collaboration with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, is offering appointments with a licensed professional career counselor.

These one-on-one appointments are offered on the second Wednesday of the month, and you need to register in advance by contacting Vicki or Tammy at the library.

This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone desiring assistance in securing employment, advancing themselves in their career, or any employment-related issue.

A list of services offered can be found on our website, or you can contact the library for more information. Please help us spread the word by sharing this information with friends and family.

On Saturday, July 14 at 10 a.m., the BRF Writers Group will meet in the library’s program room. New members are encouraged to attend. For more information about the BRF Writers Group, contact Ken Luchterhand at 608-488-2102.

On Tuesday, July 24 at 5:30 p.m., begin your journey to living fully through your heart with holistic life coach, Lori Jayne. Registration for this program is appreciated. Please contact the library at 715-284-4112.

I also want to remind everyone that there is still time to take part in our 2018 Adult Summer Reading Program.

Pick up your bookmarks at the library’s circulation desk and complete one for each book you read or listen to between now and Aug. 3.

Return the completed bookmark to the library to be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a beautiful Cedar Rocker Glider, donated by Black River Furniture Outlet, or a $50 Barnes & Noble gift card, donated by one of our patrons.

Thank you for your interest in library programming. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the library at 715-284-4112, or better yet—stop in.
