TOWN OF GALE, Wis. — Cathy Ann Guthrie left this life at her childhood home on Decorah Prairie, Town of Gale, Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011. Surrounded by her loving family, Cathy ended a six-year battle with cancer.

Cathy loved the sun and outdoors and relocated to Phoenix in 1993. She went on to become the Human Resource Director of Health South Clinic in Scottsdale, Ariz. Cathy loved to travel, hike and swim and was a huge fan of horse racing. A gifted rider, she took several very challenging horseback riding expeditions to Iceland, Canada and Utah.
