Luke Charles Cochran, 26, of La Crosse passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018.
Luke was born Sept. 22, 1992, to Margaret Grenisen and John Cochran. Luke attended Cathedral Elementary School; he graduated from Aquinas High School in 2011.
He is survived by his parents, Margaret and John; his sisters, Caitlin and Madeline; his grandparents, James and Rita Grenisen; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Claire; and his paternal grandparents, Kathy and Corby Cochran.
Luke’s infectious joy touched many lives. His creativity, sense of humor and childlike goodness impacted all he encountered. Luke had a pure and innocent spirit. He enjoyed singing and doing impersonations, he loved holidays and being a part of family gatherings. He was a good and reliable worker at Kwik Trip, where he had worked since 2014. He loved living in La Crosse and making daily visits to his favorite shops.
Funeral services will be held at noon Monday, Oct. 15, at San Damiano Chapel on the Viterbo Campus. Father Conrad Targonski will be the celebrant. Visitation will be held from 4:15 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, at the Blaschke-Schneider Funeral Home, 1501 West Ave. S. A rosary will precede the visitation at 4 p.m. A visitation will also be held from 11 a.m. until the time of Mass Monday at church.
Memorials are preferred to Aquinas Catholic Schools and Chileda Institute.
