let it go

There is no way that spending this much money can be done to save the lives of people willing to put the poison in their bodies. That money could be used to hire more staff, create prevention and follow up treatment. The inmates do not respect or fear the jailers and they will find a way around the scanner too. Where there is a will there is a way.

$100k of our money that could be spent on roads, schools, etc and we should spend it on protecting inmates from overdosing in jail? Not saying their lives have no value but there are a thousand more productive ways to spend that much money.

Halt all visitation except via phone.

It's not from visitors. Its other inmates smuggling it in. Guess where they put it.

If their stupid enough to do heron and get a "hot"shot...let them go. That was their choice to do the drug!!!!!!
