The following people appeared in La Crosse County Circuit Court:


Louis Steele, 33, of 1901 Miller St., No. 2, was charged Tuesday with battery to a law enforcement officer, attempted battery to a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer and disorderly conduct, all as a repeat offender. Steele pushed an officer and bit another man after resisting arrest on Sunday, according to the complaint.

Mathew Docken, 27, and Shawn Docken, 54, both of Onalaska, each were charged Tuesday with delivery of heroin. Shawn Docken said he received heroin from his son on Feb. 21 and used it was his wife, who later died, according to the complaint. Shawn Docken also is charged with possession of THC and drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor bail jumping after authorities found marijuana and a pipe in the house.

Clifton Traywick, 22, of 1220 Caledonia St. was charged Tuesday with felony bail jumping, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct, all as a repeat offender. Traywick threw a wine bottle at a car on Feb. 20, according to the complaint.

Michael Wieland, 31, of 1801 S. 21st St. was charged Tuesday with felony bail jumping and possession of narcotic drugs. Wieland violated his bond Monday by having heroin, according to the complaint.

Frank Segura, 52, of N3315 Hwy. 16 was charged Tuesday with fifth-offense operating while intoxicated and with a prohibited alcohol concentration. Segura drove Monday with a 0.09 percent preliminary blood-alcohol level, according to the complaint.
