The following people appeared in La Crosse County Circuit Court:
Dante D. Clayton, 21, no permanent address, was charged Thursday with strangulation, false imprisonment, attempting to flee police, damage to property and disorderly conduct. According to a complaint, Clayton broke things, choked a woman and tried to keep her from leaving her apartment during a Nov. 5 domestic dispute in La Crosse; he then led police on a 0.3-mile chase through the city’s North Side.
Otis East, 57, of 223 N. Eighth St. and Cassandra Neff, 30, of Fennimore, Wis., were each charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and misdemeanor bail jumping. According to a complaint, Neff arranged to sell $250 worth of meth to an undercover officer; he was arrested, along with Neff, when they arrived at a town of Campbell hotel room with 5.39 grams of meth.
Timothy J. Marsolek, 43, of Bangor was charged Thursday with substantial battery and disorderly conduct. According to a complaint, Marsolek threw a phone at a woman on Nov. 26 cutting her lip.
Rick A. Lofts, 52, of 719 Fifth Ave. South was charged Wednesday with felony bail jumping. According to a complaint, Lofts was residing at a place other than that specified in his bond in a prior battery case.
