The following people appeared in La Crosse County Circuit Court:


Buck Ducharme, 33, of Stoddard was charged Monday with second-degree sexual assault. A woman said Ducharme sexually assaulted her on Sunday, according to the complaint.

Steven Brock, 19, of 1228 Pine St., No. 15, was charged Monday with felony bail jumping. Brock violated a curfew condition of his bond on Friday, according to the complaint.

Felicia Foster, 32, of 215 S. Sixth St., No. 509, was charged Monday with threatening a law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct. Foster threatened to kill a police officer on Saturday, according to the complaint.

Steven Smith, 38, of 1008 S. 25th St. was charged Monday with possession of methamphetamine, THC and an illegally obtained prescription. Smith had meth, prescription pills and marijuana on Sunday, according to the complaint.

Thai Vue, 23, of 1433 Redfield St. was charged Monday with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, and felony bail jumping, all as a repeat offender. Vue had meth and a pipe on Saturday, according to the complaint.

Lonell Powers, 44, no permanent address, was charged Monday with delivery of methamphetamine and felony bail jumping. Powers sold meth on July 27, according to the complaint.

Here’s an example of another nonsense pinch for felony bail jumping. Curfew?

The DA’s office and the judges are, for good reason, not one in the same.

I’d think, however, if they’re so hopelessly overwhelmed with felony bail jumping cases (was it 20% of their caseload?) they’d request fewer conditions during the IA’s....and not curfew!
