The city of La Crosse has declared an emergency snow removal period effective Sunday afternoon.

Beginning at 3 p.m., cars must be parked only on the odd-numbered side of the street on odd days (including Sunday) and on the even-numbered side on even days.

The La Crosse Police Department says it will not issue tickets between 9 p.m. and midnight to allow residents to move their cars prior to the switch-over.

The snow removal period is in effect for 48 hours.

Snow is expected to continue falling into the evening, bringing an additional 1 to 2 inches of accumulation, according to the weather service.

Now, how in Hades, is anyone supposed to know that alternate side parking has been reinstated? What buffoons we have running our city,

I'd just like to tell Larry Sleznikow, Vince Hatt, Ron Malzer, Kathy Allen, Peter Skorski, Mike Jawson, and the La Crosse Tribune, and it's editor what absolute fools you are for promoting the hoax of human-caused global warming. You are gullible fools-all of you. Gullible fools being used by the Deep State to garner a carbon tax.-Chip DeNure
