Micheal S. Squier
Micheal S. Squier passed away Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019. He was born in La Crosse, and traveled extensively throughout the U.S. He chose to spend his latter years in Whitefish, Mont. Mike was an avid duck hunter, a Navy veteran, an accomplished baseball card collector and jack of all trades.
He leaves behind three daughters, Heather (Enrique Bassas), Michelle Squier Rave and Stephanie (Gabriel Aguilar) and their families. He was preceded in death by his biological mother, Colleen (Kerr) and his father, James A. Squier Jr.; and sister, Roberta (Onsrud). He was part of a large family, including his stepmother, Joan (Merfeld/Squier/Faas); four brothers, Mark (Katie), James III (Pauline), Thomas (Jessica) and Steven (Renee); and five sisters, Paula (Michael Smith, deceased), Barbara (Peter Graf), Lisa (Mark Weber), Rebecca (Perry Atterholt) and Sandra (Lance Allred). Thomas Richard Severson
VIROQUA/LA CROSSE, Wis. -- Thomas Richard Severson, 68, of Viroqua, formerly of La Crosse passed away peacefully Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason St. Onalaska, Chaplain Jeff Thomson will officiate. Brad F. Siegfried
LA CROSSE/NEW BRIGHTON, Minn. -- Brad F. Siegfried, 57, of La Crosse, formerly of New Brighton, passed away peacefully, with great grace and courage, Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019.
Preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Donna; and nephew, Kory. Brad is survived by brothers, Scott (Liana), Todd (Kathy), Ladd (Sharon); and sister, Kitt; niece, Krista (Duane); nephews, Andrew and Anthony; plus grandnieces, Chloe and Molly; and grandnephew, David.
Brad loved his family and his loyal friends, many who shared his passion for travel, music and his love of cats. A gentle giant, Brad had a never-ending supply of compassion and devotion to the family, friends and care-givers, who loved him dearly and cared for him throughout his life. Brad struggled with recent health issues, including cancer and depression, plus the passing of other family members in the last few years, were particularly hard for Brad to overcome. He is now at peace and pain-free.
A private celebration of life will be observed. Cremation services provided by Coulee Region Cremation Group, 608-788-2188.
Shirlee Mae Schams
Shirlee Mae Schams, 85, passed away Friday, Nov. 15, 2019, at Brookdale-ClareBridge Memory Care in La Crosse.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, St. Joseph Ridge. Family and friends may call from 2 p.m. until the time of Mass at the church. Following the service, a celebration of Shirlee's life will be held at Fox Hollow Banquet Hall in Barre Mills. Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services of La Crosse is assisting the family. Jerome 'Jerry' Dagendesh
Jerome "Jerry" Dagendesh, 79, of La Crosse passed away Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019, at the Mayo Health System in La Crosse. He was born in La Crosse, Feb. 5, 1940. On Oct. 3, 1964, he married Gloria Matiak in La Crosse and she preceded him in death March 18, 2016. Jerry retired as a conductor with the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad in 2004, after 42 years of service.
Survivors include five children, Robert (Barb) Dagendesh, Daniel Dagendesh, Tammy (Butch) Fellenz, Sandra Oleniacz and John (Angie) Dagendesh; eight grandchildren, Mark, Jennifer, Chris, Chelsey L., Dan, Steve, Chelsey M., and Preston; eight great-grandchildren, Nathan, Michael, Chyrston, Elaina, Marissa, John, Zoey and Natalie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1333 13th St. S., La Crosse, with the Rev. Rick Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Mormon Coulee Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services, 200 West Ave. S., La Crosse. Diane K. Ryan

Kevin Peloski
Kevin Peloski, 56, born Dec. 2, 1962, in La Crosse, to John and Arlene Peloski, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Marsha (Erdahl) Peloski; and son, Michael; siblings, Linda (John) Henry, Diane Peloski, Cindy Peloski, Gary (Janet) Peloski, Ken (Sharon) Peloski; and many dear nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Steven; brothers, Dave and Jeff.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
