Two men died Sunday evening after a rollover crash in the town of Hamilton, according to the La Crosse County Sheriff’s Department.

Driver Ryan Tauscher, 40, and passenger Erik Elliott, 44, were traveling east on Hwy. B about 7:20 p.m. when the car crossed the centerline, entered a ditch, hit a utility pole and rolled several time, the department stated.

Authorities are trying to determine what led to the crash.

Twelve people have been killed so far this year in La Crosse County car crashes, double the number in all of 2016.

It happened near Wolf Farm on CTH B, between Bangor and West Salem. Close to Bangor. Loss of control could have been caused by many factors; mechanical failure, swerving to miss a deer, etc.

I hope Alcohol and drugs were not part of this accident, speed I am sure was a factor.

The general public are not mind-readers, Tribune. County B runs for about seven miles through Hamilton Township. Can you at least provide a cross-road, fire number, or meaningful landmark, and turn this into a real news story?

Excuse me...But more information than what you've been given in this story is none of your business.

No. This is what is called a newsworthy event.

By that logic, I guess we really didn't need to know there even was an accident.
