The building at 333 Vine St. is a criminal justice hub. The La Crosse County Courthouse and Law Enforcement Center, which opened in 1997 with an expansion in 2010, houses the district attorney's office, clerk of courts, sheriff's department, six courtrooms and other wings of the justice system. Some places under its roof operate in full view of the public. Others are more hidden.

This summer, the La Crosse Tribune will take readers inside places across the region where they may not otherwise be able to go. To suggest a Hidden Place we should consider for this series, email srada@lacrossetribune.com.
