Advent and the approaching winter solstice invite us to wait and reflect. A Weekend of Solitude allows the opportunity to deepen connection to the sacred and  self through solitude and silence.

Labyrinth Walk in Advent

9 to 11 a.m. Saturday and 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10 and 12, freewill offering, no registration necessary. People of all faith traditions and backgrounds are invited to walk our indoor canvas labyrinth. The theme for this walk during Advent is about journeys.

The Journey of Advent

9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday or 5:30-6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10 and 12, presenter Melinda Pupillo, $10. This time of year can be filled with an excess of activity, from holiday parties to shopping to travel. Yet as the days grow darker and shorter, there is an invitation to a deeper sort of activity. The Advent practice of hope-filled waiting calls us to a dance between expectation and patience. In this gathering, you will be led to consider your own journey in Advent
