A Cassville woman escaped injury on Sunday when a county snowplow that was backing up hit the woman's car windshield with the plow blade.
WKOW.COM reported it happened at the intersection of Highways 133 and V near North Andover.
The Grant County Sheriff's Office said the county plow driver, Roger Schauff, cleared the intersection of snow and had just plowed the shoulder when he started backing up.
The plow truck was facing north in the southbound lane, and Kristin Mumm was in her SUV going north on Highway 133, WKOW reported.
Mumm saw the truck backing up and she did likewise, but she didn't get moving fast enough.
The wing blade on the plow hit the SUV's front end and the bottom of the blade went through the windshield and driver side window.
Nobody was hurt.
