ARCADIA — An undercover investigation in Trempealeau County resulted in the arrest of four women suspected of selling methamphetamine.

According to Trempealeau County Sheriff Richard Anderson, at approximately 9 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 10, Nichole L. McConnell, 38 and of Taylor, Wis., arranged to sell meth to an undercover investigator from the sheriff’s office.

During the course of the investigation, contact was made with a vehicle that had three other occupants: Cynthia A. Guynes, 41; Sandra K. Levit, 50; and Denise A. Oliver, 47, all of Bangor, Wis.

The department’s K-9 officer Luke was deployed and alerted deputies to narcotics in the vehicle. A search revealed approximately 50 grams of a substance suspected to be methamphetamine.

Investigators also searched a room at the Onalaska Inn, where more suspected meth was found.

The Arcadia Police Department, Independence Police Department and the Onalaska Police Department assisted on the call.

McConnell faces a felony charge of possession with intent to sell and a misdemeanor possession charge. Guynes faces felony and misdemeanor possession, and two felony bail jumping charges. Both had warrants from other counties.

Charges were not available for Levit or Oliver. Levit is also facing a felony possession charge in La Crosse County.

According to a complaint, Levit had two knives in her pocket as well as 4.8 grams of meth and a pipe when the vehicle she was riding in was stopped July 6.
