Western Technical College and various La Crosse area employers are teaming up to host a part-time and internship career fair from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept., 26, at the Lunda Center, 319 N. Seventh St. Forty employers, including Creative Community Living Services, Allied Cooperative and Logistics Health will be on hand to speak with students about part-time and internship opportunities.

“With our region’s job shortage, networking and creating relationships with local employers are critical in finding employment opportunities for students down the road,” said Barb Kelsey, Career Services manager at Western. “Career fairs are a chance for students and alumni to meet face-to-face with potential employers to learn more about their organization and the positions that they have available.”

The event is free and open to the public. Free parking is available in Western’s ramp during the event.
