On July 9, WisconsinEye senior producer Steve Walters sat down with Milwaukee Journal Sentinel capitol reporter Molly Beck, Wisconsin State Journal capitol reporter Riley Vetterkind, and Wisconsin Radio Network news director Bob Hague to discuss the new $81 billion state budget. Molly Beck responded to the question of whether or not Governor Tony Evers really considered vetoing the entire Republican budget. "Even during all of the talk among the Republican lawmakers about urging the governor not to veto the budget, you didn't really hear that from Democrats urging him to veto the budget, and you didn't really hear that from him."
