I am generally a very happy camper, comfortably retired and appreciative of the many good things in my life.
I do, however, have a major gripe that I think many people may have also — celebrities. I am sick and tired of them. I am weary of the Kardashians, Jay Z, Eminem, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Alec Baldwin, the entire cast of "Saturday Night Live" and a host of others.
I am nauseated by their petty squabbles as they criticize each other. And I am fed up with their awards shows: the Grammys, the Oscars, and it seems every other month or so, the Country Music affairs. I could care less about the red carpet and the fashion hits or misses.
I am saddened by the prejudicial slant of the late-night talk shows spewing their venom on President Donald Trump while letting the biggest political failure of all time, Hillary Clinton, get away untarnished.
It's just too bad that all those celebrities who said they'd leave the country if Trump was elected are still here. Somehow, I think we could have survived just fine without them.
