For years, I served on committees to help Cleveland Municipal School District. I watched public schools fail because funding was going to charter schools.
Though my kids made it through the CMSD system, eventually hard work and commitment paid off. Old school buildings were being torn down and replaced with state-of-the-art facilities. Teachers and parents were more involved. Students in the CMSD system thrived. Charter schools were forced to close for fraudulent activities.
Wisconsin, don't be fooled.
