Amy Twitchell is a woman of the highest integrity and dedication to public service, and she will be an outstanding treasurer for La Crosse County.
Twitchell knows the job — she’s been working in the treasurer’s office as assistant deputy treasurer and has a total of 10 years of service to taxpayers in the Register of Deeds and County Clerk’s office, too. Prior to that she worked in banking and has built an impressive resume that is a perfect fit for the job.
Twitchell has an impressive energy and enthusiasm for the work of public service. She is not in this for herself. She understands the importance of the position of treasurer to the overall fiscal health of the county, and she wants to build upon the professionalism and value the office has developed over the years.
Twitchell has worked tirelessly on the campaign trail, knocking on nearly 1,000 doors and meeting with hundreds of voters at events. She also has been to nearly every town and village board meeting in recent months to introduce herself and ask local elected officials for their suggestions and opinions about how the office of treasurer can be more supportive. She regularly attends County Board meetings and committee meetings to observe and to gain insight.
Twitchell has an stellar resume, impeccable integrity and a proven track record of public service. She is uniquely positioned to be our next county treasurer. Please join us in voting for Amy Twitchell on April 3.
