With the University of Wisconsin the only Big Ten Conference men's hockey team playing a regular-season game last week, Badgers forwards swept the league's three stars.
Freshman Linus Weissbach was the first star after his two-goal debut in the Badgers' 3-2 victory over Michigan Tech on Sunday.
Junior Will Johnson (one goal, one assist) and sophomore Trent Frederic (two assists) were the second and third stars, respectively.
The 12th-ranked Badgers open the Big Ten season against No. 19 Ohio State at 7 p.m. Friday and 5 p.m. Saturday at the Kohl Center.
