Kleman followed up her perfect game with a 14-strikeout effort against Northern State on April 29 in a 2-1 victory which clinched the 2018 Northern Sun Intercollegiate (NSIC) Conference regular season championship for Winona State.

Kleman amassed 31 strikeouts while walking just one batter over 19 innings in her three outings. Kleman leads the NSIC in strikeouts (142) and her 6.76 strikeout-to-walk ratio ranks ninth among all Division II pitchers.

Winona State University (41-5, 20-2 NSIC), ranked No. 5, opens play as the top seed in the NSIC Tournament on Thursday afternoon in Sioux Falls, S.D. The Warriors are currently ranked No. 1 in the NCAA Division II Central Region.
