The University of Wisconsin men’s basketball team enters the 2019-20 campaign having gone back-to-back seasons without winning an NCAA tournament game.

That’s the first time that’s happened to the Badgers since they went five seasons without an NCAA tourney win from 1995-99.

The roster that will try to end that drought includes six of the top eight scorers from a team that went 23-11 a year ago and dropped a first-round game to Oregon.

Tyler Wahl was the only member of UW’s 2019 recruiting class, but two walk-ons from the state have joined the team. Meanwhile, Micah Potter begins his first full season with the program after transferring from Ohio State last December.

Gone are three seniors (Ethan Happ, Khalil Iverson and Charles Thomas IV) and two transfers (Tai Strickland and Taylor Currie).

With that, it’s time to learn more about the Badgers.
